TED Talk

The Social Media, it is a battleground of people fighting over opinions and some good things that benefits us as a whole. Some examples of the pros is that it connects people all around the world to a unison, this however leads to people arguing with no thought at all put in to it, using opinions as facts, people saying "me, me, me, me." This then leads to activism from people who actually wants good from the world by changing and protesting against governments and cruelty. It's basically a circle of arguing continuously. This is when Wael Ghonim, a former activist, decided to change these things. However challenges like stopping rumors, people not communicating to people who disagree, and opinions that becomes facts to people,

To change this he wanted to liberate the internet. And he wanted to do this by giving people more "incentives to engage in conversation", or "reward people for reading and responding to views they disagree with." Also make it socially acceptable or reward to people that change their minds about a subject.

In conclusion, this person wants to liberate society, however, he wants to liberate the Internet first.
