TED Talk

The Social Media, it is a battleground of people fighting over opinions and some good things that benefits us as a whole. Some examples of the pros is that it connects people all around the world to a unison, this however leads to people arguing with no thought at all put in to it, using opinions as facts, people saying "me, me, me, me." This then leads to activism from people who actually wants good from the world by changing and protesting against governments and cruelty. It's basically a circle of arguing continuously. This is when Wael Ghonim, a former activist, decided to change these things. However challenges like stopping rumors, people not communicating to people who disagree, and opinions that becomes facts to people,

To change this he wanted to liberate the internet. And he wanted to do this by giving people more "incentives to engage in conversation", or "reward people for reading and responding to views they disagree with." Also make it socially acceptable or reward to people that change their minds about a subject.

In conclusion, this person wants to liberate society, however, he wants to liberate the Internet first.

Personality Test

A description of your “strengths and weaknesses” - do you agree with the results? Why or why not?
My characteristic strength and weaknesses are the following, idealistic, seek and value harmony, open minded and flexible, very creative, passionate and energetic, dedicated and hard working. For weaknesses these are the following, too idealistic, too altruistic, impractical, dislike dealing with data, take things personally, and difficult to get to know. I agree with some of these such as dislike dealing with data because I really do dislike solid data that may or may not contradict my knowledge of a subject or idea. Another one I agree with is open minded because I do accept other thoughts and ideas that doesn't completely contradicts mine.
A description of your “friendships” - do you agree with the results? Why or why not?
I agree with some parts such as friend's of friends not being my friends because it happens to me a lot when I get introduced to my friend's friend and it rarely leads to me and the friend's friend being friends with me (how many times I said friend counter: 8).A description of your “career paths” - do you agree with the results? Why or why not?
I agree with some parts like dreaming of becoming a author because I really did when I was at 6th grade and actually made a few paragraphs until I realized how cringy the setting and the story was. Another part is that I can't do things well with team based work which I am fond of with group projects (although I'm better at it then last time).

Favorite Book/Music

I chose books instead of music, just preference.

My favorite author is J.K. Rowling as you may know, the author of the Harry Potter series. She is my favorite author because her books is what really started my interest in books and how I started reading more because her books where like a hook, when you read one your going on for the whole series. J.K. Rowling was born in Yate, Gloucestershire, England and as a child was very interested in fantasy related things such as books, movies, and etc. This lead to her thinking of the Harry Potter book while waiting for a train. This made the books fantasy related with spiritual beings and magical powers. A part of the book that relates to me was when Professor Snape showed that the evil he have done was for the better good and that he was not the bad guy. This relates because I think It happened to me a little to much of the time.

Dear Middle School Self

     Dear Middle School Self,

Hello Sunny I am you from the future! Just to let you know I have actually, successfully, got my dream job! Surprising right? They didn't at first but let me in as an intern in the end because they're lacking people who does the coffee. Just joking of course! I got in as one of the coding guy, Microsoft giving me hell of a time there though. The department manager gave me like 10 piles of paper yesterday of what to do as the new guy.

Work might be great and all but it's reducing the time I can do my favorite hobby, taking pictures. Only thing I could take was the streets around New York where I live. This however still doesn't triumph the happiness of planning to take a vacation to Africa. I did graduate school and University if you were gonna ask past self, with a degree in electric engineering and mechanical engineering. Mechanical didn't come in much use though.

You might be thinking, "Any advice future self?" The answer is not much to be honest. You just gotta be yourself man, it all fits at the end. Friends told me I changed a lot since your grade, but I disagree, I am as annoying as any time in the past.

                                                                                              Your Future Self, Sunny

Digital Citizenship

Digital citizenship is a rule or a way someone have to use technology. This is widely diverse around the world but always has the same main idea, to be as appropriate and responsible as possible. This means you do not do the following, plagiarize, say mean or hateful things on the internet, and do not do things against the law such as hacking.

I normally use my laptop or my desktop computer for regular usage such as gaming and surfing the internet. Even though I have a phone to do those things I tend not to do so. One disadvantages of having technology is health. As much as internet can be fun it can affect your health greatly such as get fat or not fit for doing simple tasks. Another one is bullying. Internet bullying is as serious of an issue as real bullying in the real world. This has affected as much as 800 million users world wide. However there are advantages too, technology makes information right at your finger with technology such as phones available for use.

1 aspects I do very well in digital citizenship is digital etiquette because I do not go around the internet saying racial slurs or things that will anger people in such sites as Youtube or any other social media. Another one is digital security because ,like the other one, don't go around social media's and share my personal info to people I don't know. However one aspect I'm not good at is digital health because I am not good at balancing using the internet and going outside looking around nature. Another one is digital communication because I'm not good at writing email as good as others can.

I will use technology to improve myself by doing social activism and etc for women rights or men's rights.

Thomas Edison Quotes

I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.- Thomas Edison

I believe this quote means that every thing you did bad on such as tests and etc is like a way you you learn. What I mean by this is that you learn from your mistakes in this case, you learn all 10,000 ways it doesn't work. This is valuable because it is something that can be applied to school were we learn from our mistakes and do better next time on it. I think not only I can relate to this because it is what everyone should've done, learning from your mistakes and thinking it as a way it doesn't work.

Problem Ending

If you could end any one problem in the world, what would it be.

If I could end a problem it would be debt because almost every country has debt such as America which is approximately $16.5 TRILLION dollars! That's more than 16.5 trillion tacos for Africa! This debt being payed will help both America itself AND other countries!BUT lets say the debt wasn't going to be payed (reality), and if this keep continuing then we would see higher taxes, higher prices for goods, and pretty much more debt because people can't pay these taxes!Ending this will help Americas economy and the citizens of it.
